- make sure that winavr is installed in a directory without parenthesis (such as '...Program Files(x86)'), or you'll get "make: Interrupt/Exception caught (code = 0xc00000fd, addr = 0x4217b3" errors when building.
- On Vista x64, all drivers need to be signed, but the libusb driver hasn't been signed. download Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider .
- If you get "sync_with_child: child 3996(0x14C) died before initialization with status code 0x0", install a new version of msys-1.0.dll
